Zebre vs Dragons – Report – Guinness PRO14 2018 – 14 Apr, 2018

Zebre grabbed a late win over the Dragons thanks to a late Carlo Canna try and conversion.

Fans were treated to nine tries in all, with Marcello Violi, Tommaso D’Aspice, Johan Meyer and Canna crossing for the hosts.

Newport were well in control at the break thanks to a first half hat-trick from Jared Rosser and a try from Charlie Davies.

But the visitors only managed six second half points as the Italians mounted their impressive comeback.

Canna’s try in the 71st minute was enough to tie the scores before his conversion took the spoils for Zebre.

Zebre stay bottom of Conference A after only their fourth win of the season while the Dragons stay sixth in the other Conference.
